Tryphena Foord (1828 - 1921) was the wife and model of English painter Arthur Hughes. Hughes was not an official member of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, but his paintings exhibit the Pre-Raphaelite style and preference of themes. She modelled for many of her husband's works, such as
April Love,
The Long Engagement,
Amy,
A Music Party,
Back from the Sea,
The Rift within the Lute, etc.
